“The Tiber, the Arno, and
the Grand Canal”
A Celebration of Italian Choral Music
Saturday, May 2, 2015 @ 8:00pm St. Anthony of Padua
Sunday, May 3, 2015 @ 4:00pm St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church
CoroAllegro takes you on a journey through Italy
as we celebrate the art of choral music brought to us by the country's
most esteemed composers. The centerpiece of the concert features
the Missa Papae Marcelli (Pope Marcellus Mass) by Italian master
Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina and also includes works by Gioacchino
Rossini, Claudio Monteverdi, Antonio Lotti, Bruno Bettinelli and
more. The acoustically pristine St. Anthony’s Catholic Church is
the perfect setting to experience this unique and timeless music.
