CoroAllegro Season Notes
Fall weather is finally here, and with it, come the rush of activities, events, and work that inevitably accompany a new school year. In the midst of all that needs to be done, I find myself looking forward, every week, to the two hours when there’s nothing to do but sing.
As the first notes of the warm-up ring out, I close my eyes and visualize everything that weighs me down floating up to the rafters and out of the building; I breathe deeply and sing.
In CoroAllegro I have found a home, a place where we come together and bond over our love of music and the joy of sharing it with others. We are people who each inhabit very different spheres, but come together every week to pursue our shared passion. We sing.
Welcome to our new blog and to a new season of music. We hope you’ll check back often for inside information on our programs and rehearsals, and for a glimpse into the heads of the musicians who together are CoroAllegro.
