About Us

Vision
We aspire to be the preeminent chamber choir in Delaware, committed to excellence in performance and the development of life-long music lovers and supporters through community and school partnerships and audience education.

Mission
The mission of CoroAllegro is the pursuit of artistic excellence in small ensemble singing, both in a cappella work and in collaboration with instrumental artists, community outreach to traditionally under-served audiences, and arts literacy and education.

Core Values
We contribute an essential PIECE to the Delaware music scene:
  • Philanthropy - building awareness for organizations and causes and presenting fundraising performances
  • Innovation - varied works across the full choral spectrum and unique elements incorporated into the musical experience.
  • Education - inspiring students to pursue music as a lifelong experience and bringing new insight to audiences about the pieces they are hearing
  • Collaboration - engaging local, regional, and international talent and partnering with local organizations for our mutual benefit
  • Excellence - avocational, auditioned singers committed to professional-level performance
